Q2 2024 Android App Insights: Top Personal Finance Apps in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 draws to a close, Sensor Tower brings you the latest data on the top Personal Finance Budgeting and Planning applications for Android in the United States. Here's a snapshot of how these apps have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Splitwise saw a steady increase in revenue, starting the quarter at $69K and peaking at $95K before ending at $84K. Downloads showed a mid-quarter spike with 249K, while weekly active users fluctuated, concluding at a high of 1.85M.

Money manager & expenses experienced modest revenue growth, moving from $14K to $18K, with a slight dip mid-quarter. Downloads began at 202K, dipped to 100K, and stabilized around 144K. Weekly active users started at 3.23M, dipped to 2.67M, and slightly recovered to 2.82M.

Tricount - Split group bills had its revenue fluctuate between $11K and $24K, ending the quarter at $13K. Downloads showed an upward trend, starting at 73K and reaching 119K. The app's weekly active users grew from 582K to 640K.

Money Manager Expense & Budget saw revenue that varied throughout the quarter, starting at $36K and ending at $34K. Download numbers were highest mid-quarter at 113K but ended at 59K. Weekly active users peaked at 1.52M, then dropped to 1.31M.

Lastly, Fast Budget - Expense Manager showed a zigzag pattern in revenue, starting and ending the quarter at $33K and $34K respectively, with a peak of $42K. Downloads hit a high of 108K in the first week and then decreased to 48K. Weekly active users saw a high of 1.22M, eventually dropping to 1.05M.
